Time to Catch Up....

Well I know it has been awhile since I have put up a new post. Things get busy and life continues, so here's what we've been up to!!

School ended on a good note and the summer fun began!! We took a family vacation to Destin, Florida in June. We loved it and enjoyed the beach lots. There were eighteen of us that went and rented an awesome for the week. We will definitely do it again!!

After returning from Florida, we headed to Fort Worth to celebrate Matthew and Bryan's Birthday. They have had a swim party together for the past two years. We spent the weekend with my sister and her family and had a great time. Matthew turned 12 and Bryan turned 8, wow how time flys.

The remainder of the month the kids had a few weeks of Vacation Bible School and lots of swimming. It has been too hot to do anythings else this summer. We have been in the need of rain the entire summer. So the only outside activity that you can do includes water.... We have also been several times this summer on the boat with the Marshall's, more water fun!!

We celebrated the fourth of July with some friends that were having a swim party. Lots fun in the sun. We didn't see many fireworks because of no rain or attend the parade(too HOT), so we called it an early evening after a long day of swimming and went to bed early. Oh well, maybe we can enjoy fireworks next year.

We have enjoyed our summer so far but all good things must come to an end and school is just around the corner. Now we are beginning to prepare for the new year of school. Now we will have three in school, WOW the amount of stuff we will need for three!! Yes I am a little over whelmed to have all three in school... I can't believe my first baby will be graduating and my last baby is starting school!! I'm excited and sad all at once.

Too be continued......

Birthday's, and more Birthday's!!!

Happy 5th Birthday Bryce!! We celebrated at this awesome place called Ridemakerz in the Baytown Mall. You get to build a car kind of like Build A Bear. Everyone had a fun time. Crystle, Tim, Matthew, Bryan and Mimi came to help celebrate with us. We all had a great weekend.

A week later Courtney turned 17!! We surprised her and had a few of her friends meet us for dinner. I can't believe she is 17 already!! It just seems like yesterday she was turning 7... When all she asked for her present was little girl toys and now its make up, phones, cameras and ipods or just give me some money. Wow how time flys, enjoy each and everyday you get cause before you know it your little baby is all grwon up. Ten years have passed in just a blink of your eye.

Well, I said this would be hard for me keep up with, so I guess at least a couple of times a month will work for now. Maybe when things aren't so busy I will be able to post more often. Yeah right... Not sure that will ever happen.

A couple of weeks ago Allyson had her second grade program at school. They did a rodeo theme this year and it was really cute. They did several different dances and she got do have her own speaking part! She was so excited !!

Courtney had a project for Cosmetology that did awesome and advanced to the next level!! She is really doing a great job in this course. On a different note, She needs to pass the upcoming TAKS test, she has a tough time with this test in Math and Science and this year she needs to pass this test to be able to graduate next year. This has been a crazy month for her.... This past week she lost a friend in a car accident and this was the toughest thing for her. She has really had a hard time dealing with the whole situation. There were a group of boys that were racing and she knew all of them involved and doesn't understand how only one lost his life and the others had no injuries at all... I think we have all had to deal with this as a teenager and it is so tough. Please keep her in your prayers...

Opening day for Bryce playing Baseball. This season he is playing with the San Francisco Giants team. He really loves playing baseball and plays pretty well to just be in T-Ball. Well of course he plays well, cause its Mom who's saying so...(He is Moms baby boy!!) I'm sure every Mom says her son is the greatest player!! Dad has decided to coach this year and so far it has gone pretty good. We were worried about Bryce having trouble listening with Dad out there, but he seems to be doing really good with Dad helping out.

On Sunday, Allyson, Courtney and I went to the Jonas Brothers concert at the Houston Rodeo with a few other friends. It was nice to spend some time with just the girls.. We had a good time at the concert considering there were thousands of people ( kiddos) also at the rodeo for the same reason!!

This next week we are ready for a break... Spring Break that is!!!!

WOW how time flys...
We have been busy and I haven't had a chance to post anything.

Since the last post with everyone sick, we're feeling great!! Yeah...
We had Bobby's Aunt and Uncle here for a visit from Tulsa, OK. His Uncle helped him install a whole house generator. Yippee..., we are set for the next power outage! We will have a donation box setup if anyone would like to cool off, while we will still have power from natural gas. But natural gas is only a little cheaper than running a generator off gasoline. We are very thank for this great gift from Bobby's Dad!!
After they finished installing the generator we drove to Galveston to see how things looked. Well as to be excepted, there is still a lot of things not back to normal. The Bolivar by far looks the worst. People are still in need of homes and repairs. It is heart breaking to see the after math of a hurricane. I guess you can't really know what its like until you see it. Please remember to continue praying for those in need. Its hard to remember since things around here bounced back to normal so quickly.
This is a picture of the Bolivar where there once were homes...

VALENTINES DAY CELEBRATIONS

I went to Allyson's Valentines party at school. WOW that's a lot of kids for one class!!

For Valentines Day we went to Dosey Doe's for dinner with Shannon and John. It was our first time to eat there and it was pretty good. The music is a little to country for me though. But we had a good time...

Happy Late Valentines to all!!!

Sick Kiddos

For the past two weeks we have had one the the kids home sick. First, it was Courtney with the flu and a upper respirtory infection. Now this week Allyson has missed school all week with a virus that also casues pink eye. She has been running a fever since Saturday and then Monday morning her eyes were puffy and really red!! So off to the doctor we went, again... She is still not feeling well and running a low grade fever, I hope the end is near... Hopefully Bryce will not have something next week! He spent the weekend with Aunt Crystle and her family, so I think he should be okay.

Well I have finally joined the bloggers. We'll see how it goes and if I can really keep up with it. I really think it will be fun to look back at as I go along. Memories, us Moms we just can't get enough. I have almost decided that scrapbooking is just too time consuming. Not that I don't enjoy doing it, but its just so much to keep up with. I thought this blog would at least keep up with the memories a little better than me being a year behind on scrapbooking!!

Courtney is sixteen and will be seventeen in April, Allyson turned eight in November and Mr. Bryce will be five this March.

Courtney is attending cosmotology in High school this year and is really having fun doing so. I think she is excited that she will be a senior next year. But if she only knew what is truly coming her way she might slow down and enjoy just being a kid and that it wasn't so bad after all.

Allyson, well she is a bright young lady and enjoys school, except for having to get dressed and go. Her favorite subject is history. She has kind of decided that schoool isn't as much fun as you get older it gets a little harder and she has to work harder.

Bryce, well what can I say other than he is all boy!! He is a buddle of energy... I am really surprised how much he has enjoyed preschool this year, I think he is tired of me... He is looking forward to going to school with Allyson next year.
